Horizon West Happenings Lifestyle Guide - Print Issue is Launched

SUMMERPORT VILLAGE - HORIZON WEST TOWN in FL – Mar. 16, 2018

The community dined together Friday night to kick off Spring Break!

Food Truck nights are not new to Summerport Village, but for this event things were changed up a bit. Regulars at first wondered where the food trucks were, but then soon realized they were lined up on the street by 33 & Melt. Community dining tables were setup on the lakefront instead of the trucks so everyone could gather around and be encouraged to interact with neighbors to meet for the first time and/or get to know each other better. Other firsts at the event were the first of many visits in the Horizon West area by the Amazon Treasure Truck, the kick-off of Horizon West Rocks and the launch of the 2018 Horizon West Happenings Community Lifestyle print issue.

Did you attend? Do you have any thoughts or suggestions for future Food Truck events at the village centers or town center in Horizon West? Chime in over on this ongoing thread with your ideas and feedback!

WHERE TO PICK UP A COPY

You'll start seeing the print issue available to pickup at many area businesses in the Horizon West village centers of Summerport Village and Lakeside Village as well as in the Hamlin Town Center and new home model centers.

HORIZON WEST HAPPENINGS • MISSION STATEMENT

Horizon West Happenings provides the info locals want to know, connects businesses to their customers and inspires social interaction by leveraging technology to put access to these experiences in your pocket.

HORIZON WEST HAPPENINGS • OUR VISION

Horizon West Happenings was born out of the desire to use our passions, strengths and knowledge to lead and faciltate the realization of what we ourselves desire in our microlocal Horizon West community - an optimal quality of life. This is paired with us experiencing first-hand, a need for a communications channel that enables businesses to reach the consumers in this growing area - and deciding to fill that void.

We are also advocates of the “new suburbanism” intent of the HW Master Plan and recognize its part in enabling that higher quality of life by making our home and village commons places that enrich, uplift, and inspire the human spirit. We seek to educate locals and those considering moving to the area on the benefits of this unique design and how they can participate and nurture it!

Horizon West Happenings is working towards becoming  a household name amongst residents, businesses and community leaders in and concerned with Horizon West.
