We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape crew leader (MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENSE AND OWN TRANSPORT) to deliver high-quality landscape maintenance and installation services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscaping, lawn care, and horticulture. As a Landscape foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation installation.
- Oversee lawn care operations, ensuring proper techniques and equipment are used for optimal results.
- Manage tree care activities including pruning, planting, and removal as necessary.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Train new employees on landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; report any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
Skills
- Ability to work fast in very hot conditions, physically fit and strong.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and horticulture principles.
- Proficient in lawn care techniques
- Experience in supervising teams within a landscaping or construction environment.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems design and installation.
- Ability to perform gardening tasks with attention to detail.
