Hygiene Kit Drive for Eight Waves – Helping Local Children In Need

Hygiene insecurity is a very painful experience for many families in Central Florida. While it’s true that welfare assistance such as food stamps provide for the coverage of grocery items, it does not cover hygiene supplies. That means that hard working people are often left without items we take for granted like toothpaste, shampoo, and deodorant.

The most requested items Eight Waves receives tell a compelling story of the thousands of young people who are going without essential hygiene products in their day to day lives. The indignity they feel is immeasurable. Bullying and isolation due to factors outside of their control are the reality for these students.

You can help. You can offer dignity. Here’s how!

Hygiene Pantries provided by Eight Waves can be found in School and Community Centers in Lake and Orange County.

Their sole purpose of these pantries is to provide access to hygiene items.
