A New Take on Holiday Magic at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

This year’s Jollywood Nights includes a lineup of shows, entertainment, and holiday décor, designed to immerse guests in the seasonal spirit while bringing a touch of old-Hollywood glamour. The event takes place on Select Nights from November through December, turning the park into a winter wonderland with a unique blend of vintage and modern holiday charm.

Jollywood Nights brings a perfect mix of romance, nostalgia, and excitement – ideal for a memorable date night. From holiday-themed cocktails and delicious seasonal treats to live performances and character meet-and-greets, Jollywood Nights has something special for everyone. 

Holidays in Hollywood Live Show – Located at the Theater of the Stars, this holiday show combines live musical performances, dazzling choreography, and special effects, all set against a festive Hollywood backdrop. Hosted by Kermit and Miss Piggie, the show features a live band with performances by Tiana, Belle, Mickey and Minnie. 

Pixar Dance Party – Join your favorite Pixar pals for a holiday dance party! Pixar characters will be out and about, dancing in the streets and interacting with guests. Fans of Toy Story won’t want to miss the chance to see Toy Story Land all decked out for the holidays. 

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Nighttime Spectacular – Back by popular demand, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” is a holiday fireworks show that combines state-of-the-art projections, lasers, fireworks, and holiday music for a truly immersive experience. The show is projected on the Chinese Theater and takes guests on a holiday journey with beloved Disney characters. 

Glisten! Ice Skating Show – Watch world champion ice skaters perform an original holiday program in front of the Chinese Theater.

Sunset Seasons Greetings – Throughout the night, catch dazzling holiday projections and lights on the Hollywood Tower Hotel from Sunset Boulevard. You’ll also experience “snow” from time to time!

What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along – This is a live show running at select times throughout the night that features characters and songs from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club – Enjoy dancing and specialty cocktails at the Twilight Soirée, taking place in front of the Hollywood Tower Hotel (the Tower of Terror). A live band will be performing jazzy holiday tunes while Disney cast members mingle with the crowd and encourage everyone to join in.

Holiday Fiesta En La Calle – This lively holiday street fair features live musicians performing Latin music.

Jollywood Nights also offers Exclusive Dining Options and holiday treats to complete your night. With seasonal cocktails, themed desserts, and gourmet dishes, you and your date can indulge in flavors that perfectly complement the holiday spirit. Small bites and drinks are available at quick service restaurants and carts throughout the park. The Hollywood Brown Derby features a special holiday menu and live music. You can join the walk-up list or make a reservation on the day of the event.

Special Photo Ops and Video Downloads

PhotoPass photos and specialty photo ops are included with your ticket price during the event. There are beautiful spots positioned throughout the park to grab a selfie or have your photo taken by a PhotoPass photographer. There are also two locations for specialty photos and video you won’t want to miss, featuring a robotic arm and camera array.

Tips for Making the Most of Jollywood Nights

Here are some practical tips for planning your date night at Jollywood Nights:

• Arrive Early: Although Jollywood Nights is an after-hours event, arriving early can give you a chance to explore the park at a more relaxed pace before the festivities begin. While the event doesn’t officially start until 7:30, your ticket grants you entry into the park as early as 6PM.
•  Plan Your Showtimes: With a variety of shows available, plan ahead to ensure you catch your top picks. Be sure to check the event map and schedule for showtimes so you don’t miss any of the entertainment.
• Dress Comfortably: Dressing up is part of the fun during Jollywood, but it’s not required. You will notice many people dressed up in dapper holiday attire and others in casual park outfits and Christmas pajamas. Even if you decide to dress up, consider wearing comfortable shoes!
• Take Advantage of PhotoPass: Disney’s PhotoPass photographers will be stationed throughout the park, ready to capture your holiday memories. PhotoPass pictures and video downloads are included in your ticket price!

Advanced Tickets are Highly Recommended

Jollywood Nights requires a separate event ticket, as it takes place outside regular park hours. Tickets can be purchased directly from the Disney World website and it’s recommended you buy them in advance, as event nights can sell out. Prices vary depending on the date, with discounts available for Disney Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members.
