SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream Tips
Purchase a No-Boo Necklace
Howl-O-Scream is one of Orlando’s most thrilling Halloween experiences. However, if you want less scare, then purchase a No-Boo necklace. This signals to the scare actors that you do not want any jump scares or to be approached. It’s meant to “help keep any monsters at bay” when you’re wandering the scare zones.
Start With the Houses
Tackle must-do haunted houses first. Each house has its own unique theme and terrifying surprises, so starting here sets the tone for the rest of the night. By knocking out some of the houses first, you’ll free up time later to explore the scare zones, enjoy the shows, ride attractions, and grab some spooky snacks.
Watch Shows for a Break
If you need to slow down the pace a bit, shows like Fan Favorite! Monster Stomp let you sit, catch your breath, and keep those entertaining spooky vibes. Throttle is an all-new show where the dead don’t rest and fire doesn’t burn out.
Ride Coasters in the Dark
Ride Mako, Pipeline, or Ice Breaker at night for extra thrills! The dark adds some intensity to all the rides. Plus, the wait times usually go down later at night, so you can ride your favorites over and over again.
Use the Map
Houses and scare zones are spread out. Make sure to download the map or use the app to plan your route. The map shows you where all the haunts and thrills are located like haunted houses, scare zones, specialty foods and beverages, and shopping. You won’t want to miss a thing!
Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld is recommended for kids ages 13 and older, so keep age recommendations in mind if you’re planning on bringing the kiddos.
