Taborfield Park is Open!

Residents in the Lakeside Village area near Castleview Elementary have a brand-new neighborhood park to enjoy thanks to Orange County Parks and Recreation Department! Taborfield Park is the latest park to be developed and opened in Horizon West. The 6.5-acre community amenity is open to the public, and designed to serve the nearby residents, as per the Master Plan of Horizon West that puts green spaces, public amenities and gathering areas close to home for the residents of each village.

Community parks interspersed with neighborhoods and alongside elementary schools, is a model that can be seen across Horizon West. Other examples of this include Summerport Park alongside Keene’s Crossing Elementary, Lakeside Village Park alongside Bay Lake Elementary and the future Summerlake Park alongside Summerlake Elementary. And there are more to come.
