Disney Springs Is Going All-In on Fall: What Horizon West Locals Need to Know

McKenzie Chavy Avatar

You officially do not need a theme park ticket to get a serious dose of Disney Halloween this year.

Disney Springs has rolled out an expanded lineup of fall and Halloween entertainment, food, drinks, decorations and merchandise for 2026, turning an easy night out from Horizon West into something that feels a lot more like a seasonal event.

And unlike many of Walt Disney World’s fall experiences, there is no separate event ticket required just to walk in and enjoy the atmosphere.

The seasonal celebration runs now through November 9, 2026, with some individual food and beverage offerings ending on different dates.

So if you’re looking for an easy fall night out near Horizon West, here’s what’s happening at Disney Springs this year.

First: Disney Springs Actually Looks Like Fall

We live in Florida.

Sometimes we need to manufacture the autumn vibes ourselves.

Disney Springs is helping.

Throughout the district, visitors will find pumpkins, colorful fall decorations and seasonal details designed to transform the area for autumn.

But the bigger change this year is the entertainment.

Disney has added several roaming performers around Town Center, making the fall atmosphere something you encounter as you walk instead of something happening on one designated stage.

Keep an eye out for:

  • Farmhand Drummers
  • Pumpkin Stilt Walkers
  • Harvest Skaters
  • Seasonal entertainment throughout Town Center

Then October arrives and things get a little spookier.

The Pumpkin Stilt Walkers transform into spooky giants, while the Farmhand Drummers become a zombie percussion ensemble.

There’s also a Roaming Pumpkin DJ bringing Halloween music into the mix.

Basically, your casual “let’s just go walk around Disney Springs” night now has a soundtrack.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar Has Gone Full Halloween

If there’s one stop that deserves to be on your fall Disney Springs list, it might be Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar.

The Indiana Jones-inspired waterfront bar has once again received its Halloween transformation, with spooky décor and a limited-time menu running through November 9.

The space gets a kitschy, vintage Halloween makeover inspired by the 1940s, and the 2026 menu includes a lineup of completely new food and drink offerings.

Some of the standouts include:

Candelabra Eggs

Deviled eggs topped with crispy fried chicken, sweet-and-tart pepper sauce and aji amarillo custard.

Dark Forest Dip

Roasted mixed mushrooms, rainbow carrots, hummus, toasted pumpkin seeds and pita.

Midnight Mayhem Popcorn Chicken

Another of the new Halloween-inspired additions to the menu.

Viper’s Nest

A colorful nonalcoholic drink made with pineapple juice, white cranberry, green apple and other flavors, topped with juice-filled pearls and gummy candy.

And one familiar favorite is returning:

Alien Invader Sliders.

Jock Lindsey’s Halloween transformation runs from August 11 through November 9, 2026.

The Halloween Treat Situation Is…Extensive

Disney did not stop at one restaurant.

Seasonal food and drinks have appeared throughout Disney Springs, so you could very easily turn this into a Halloween food crawl.

And honestly, that may be the move.

Amorette’s Patisserie

One of the prettiest new desserts this year is the Candle Petit Cake, made with black velvet cake, spiced berry jam, pumpkin ganache and dark chocolate glaze.

There are also Hocus Pocus-inspired éclairs and a Pumpkin-Spiced Crème Brûlée among the seasonal offerings.

The Ganachery

The Ganachery may be one of the strongest Halloween stops this year.

Look for treats including:

  • Vampire Mickey Chocolate Piñata
  • Haunted Mansion Portrait Bars
  • Coco Cinnamon Ganache Squares
  • Pumpkin Spice S’more
  • Seasonal chocolate creations inspired by Disney villains and Halloween

If your version of celebrating fall involves chocolate rather than actual pumpkins, start here.

Everglazed Donuts

Of course the donut shop got involved.

The Halloween donut lineup includes options inspired by ghosts, tombstones and even The Haunted Mansion.

One of the coolest is a vegan Haunted Mansion donut made with purple ube, vanilla icing, OREO dust and an edible clock decoration.

Chicken Guy!

Chicken Guy! is bringing fall into lunch with a Harvest Apple Chicken Sandwich featuring crispy chicken tenders, white cheddar, hot honey orchard sauce, bacon and apple slaw.

There’s also a Pumpkin Spiced Cheesecake Shake made with pumpkin purée, gingersnap crumbles and caramel.

Splitsville

Want Halloween sushi?

Apparently yes, you do.

Splitsville’s All Hallow’s Eve Sushi Roll combines shrimp, avocado, cucumber and spicy volcano mix with Halloween presentation.

They’ve also created an entire collection of colorful Halloween cocktails and frozen drinks, including names like:

  • Witch’s Brew
  • Candy Corn Colada
  • Vampire’s Kiss
  • Purple People Eater
  • The Graveyard

And if choosing one sounds impossible, there’s even a Fright Flight sampler.

Swirls on the Water

Beginning September 4, Swirls on the Water has a Vampire Mickey Cone featuring pumpkin and chocolate soft serve.

Pumpkin + chocolate + Mickey ears?

Very hard to argue with that.

Vivoli il Gelato

Vivoli is serving several limited-time fall creations including:

  • Pumpkin Cannoli
  • Oreo Tiramisu
  • Jack’s Crew
  • Gremlin Shake
  • Werewolf Shake

This is also a good stop if the group can’t agree on one dessert.

Get several.

Problem solved.

Restaurants Across Disney Springs Are Joining In

The Halloween menus extend well beyond dessert.

Limited-time offerings are available at restaurants including:

  • Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
  • City Works Eatery & Pour House
  • Dockside Margaritas
  • eet by Maneet Chauhan
  • Frontera Cocina
  • Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co.
  • Paddlefish
  • Raglan Road
  • Rainforest Café
  • Summer House on the Lake
  • T-Rex Café
  • Terralina Crafted Italian
  • The BOATHOUSE
  • The Polite Pig

Availability dates vary by location, with some offerings continuing beyond November 9.

So if there’s a particular item you’re going specifically to try, check Disney’s current Foodie Guide before heading over.

The Halloween Merchandise Has Arrived Too

If you cannot resist Disney Halloween merchandise, this section is dangerous.

The seasonal collections at Disney Springs include designs inspired by several Disney favorites, including:

Mickey Mouse and Friends Halloween Collection

Pastel Ghost Collection

The Haunted Mansion

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Disney Cats and Dogs Halloween Collection

A separate Fall Trend Collection is also planned for DisneyStyle.

Translation:

You may go to Disney Springs intending to spend $8 on dessert and leave holding a Haunted Mansion sweatshirt.

We accept no responsibility.

Don’t Skip the Disney PhotoPass Studio

Disney Springs also has a Disney PhotoPass Studio, and Disney is specifically promoting it as part of this year’s seasonal experience.

If everyone is already dressed in their fall Disney outfits, you might as well commit to it.

The studio offers professional Disney PhotoPass photography without requiring theme park admission.

For families, couples or anyone who takes Halloween at Disney very seriously, this can easily become part of the night.

So…Is This Basically Free Halloween at Disney?

Pretty close.

There is no admission charge to enter Disney Springs, and self-parking in the Disney Springs garages and surface lots is complimentary.

That means you can technically:

Walk through the fall decorations.

Catch the roaming entertainment.

See the stilt walkers.

Listen to the drummers.

Dance when the Pumpkin DJ rolls through.

Window-shop the Halloween merchandise.

And spend $0.

Good luck with that last part once you smell the seasonal treats, but technically it can be done.

That makes Disney Springs one of the easiest budget-friendly Halloween activities near Horizon West this fall.

Make It a Horizon West Fall Night Out

Because Disney Springs is so close to Horizon West, this doesn’t need to become a full Disney day.

In fact, we think it’s better when it doesn’t.

Here’s the HWH game plan:

Start Around Sunset

Head over once the afternoon heat starts calming down and the lights begin coming on.

Walk Town Center First

Find the Harvest Skaters, Farmhand Drummers or Pumpkin Stilt Walkers while taking in the decorations.

Pick ONE Seasonal Treat

Or say you’re going to pick one and immediately abandon that plan.

Both are acceptable.

Head to Jock Lindsey’s

Get a drink or share a couple of the Halloween appetizers along the waterfront.

Finish With Dessert

The Ganachery, Amorette’s, Everglazed, Vivoli or Swirls on the Water.

Choose your fighter.

Walk One More Lap

Because somehow Disney Springs is significantly more enjoyable after you have dessert in your hand.

And October Gets Even Spookier

One thing to keep in mind if you’re deciding when to go:

September is more fall. October gets more Halloween.

Disney says that as Halloween approaches, some of the entertainment evolves into its spookier version.

The Farmhand Drummers turn into a zombie percussion group.

The towering pumpkin performers get a spooky makeover.

And the Roaming Pumpkin DJ joins the festivities.

So families with younger kids who prefer pumpkins over spooky characters may enjoy going earlier in the season, while Halloween people may want to wait until October.

You Don’t Have to Buy a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Ticket to Get Some Disney Halloween Magic

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom is a completely different experience and includes exclusive entertainment, characters, trick-or-treating and attractions.

It also requires a separate ticket.

Disney Springs gives locals another option.

You can still get the decorations.

The seasonal treats.

The music.

The entertainment.

The Halloween merch.

The Disney atmosphere.

Without purchasing admission to a theme park.

For families living in Horizon West, that makes this one of the easiest ways to sprinkle a little Disney into an ordinary weeknight.

Fall in Florida Looks a Little Different

We may not get changing leaves.

We may still be wearing shorts in October.

And ordering a pumpkin spice latte when it’s 88 degrees outside does require a certain level of commitment.

But living in Horizon West also means Disney Halloween is basically in our backyard.

And this year, you don’t even need to enter a park to get in on it.

Disney Springs has turned an ordinary shopping and dining trip into a full fall night out, complete with pumpkins, roaming performers, Halloween food, spooky cocktails, Disney merchandise and plenty of opportunities to make an evening of it.

So grab the kids.

Meet up with friends.

Or turn it into a fall date night.

Spooky season has officially arrived at Disney Springs. 🎃
