Fire Station 32 Officially Opens Its Doors in Horizon West!

Lindsay Turner Avatar

Horizon West proudly celebrated the grand opening of Fire Station 32 — a state-of-the-art facility that marks an exciting new chapter in public safety for our growing community.

County and fire rescue leadership were in attendance, including John Westmoreland, Anthony Rios, Jerry Demings, and Nicole Wilson. Alongside many Orange County Fire Rescue officials and local residents, attendees had the opportunity to tour the station and explore the impressive mobile command center.

Housed at Station 32

Here are the units that are now housed at Station 32:

  • Engine 32
  • Rescue 32
  • Marine Tandem 32

These units will provide expedited responses to trauma, fire, and rescue calls throughout the Horizon West area — strengthening emergency coverage exactly where it’s needed most.

Chief Rios reflected on the station’s humble beginnings nearly 20 years ago in a Publix plaza before sharing his pride in its new permanent home. His message to the community was heartfelt and clear: “We are your family now.” Beyond rapid response, Station 32 is committed to strong community outreach and building lasting relationships with the residents they serve.
