Welcome to the neighborhood, Shisa Karate! Horizon West’s newest dojo, Shisa Karate brings martial arts to life for kids ages 4 and up. They not only want to give the community an opportunity to learn traditional karate, but they also want to instill valuable life skills and shape students for life.

About Shisa Karate

Shisa Karate is a family-run dojo, rooted in the rich traditions of Okinawan Goju Ryu, led by a WORLD CHAMPION Juan Pinheiro, right here in Horizon West. What sets them apart is the focus on their philosophy defined through their Dōjō kun, a set of principles that guide both teacher and student on their path in Karate. You can also read these principles on the wall of the dojo.

Classes are held Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 8:30 PM. From Little Lions to Lion Kings, everyone can discover strength, discipline, and confidence at Shisa Karate.
