What an incredible day we had at the 7th Annual Horizon West Fest on March 1st! The sun was shining, the energy was high, and the community spirit was alive. This year, the fest was all about good vibes, great music, and fun for everyone, and it did not disappoint.

The music lineup was fantastic, featuring performances from Francesca Tarantino, The Remix, Shamanic Rootz, and Jessica DeLaCruz. Each artist brought their unique sound, creating a lively soundtrack for the day that had people dancing and singing along.

Families with kids flocked to the Action-Packed Kids Zone, which was bustling with excitement. Kids had a blast with face painting, airbrush tattoos, and an array of thrilling attractions. The dual lane jumbo slide, a massive 60 ft. obstacle course, and the hilarious wrecking ball kept them entertained for hours. And of course, there were bounce houses galore!

But it wasn’t all just for the kiddos. Adults found plenty of fun, too! The 360 photo booth was a hit, and the scavenger hunt had everyone getting into the spirit of adventure. Plus, who wouldn’t want to meet Toothless the Sloth? It was a great way to engage with friends and neighbors while enjoying a laid-back lounge area filled with yard games.

One of the best parts of the fest was the chance to connect with local groups, clubs, and businesses. We had representatives from the Orange County Library System, Fire Rescue, and even the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on-site. It was a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and strengthen those local ties.

And let’s not forget the food! There was no shortage of delicious options. From Lime Fresh Mexican Grill and Skyline Chili to scrumptious offerings like Chikiz Empanadas and Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza, everyone found something to satisfy their cravings. Sweet lovers flocked to Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream and Jeremiah’s Italian Ice to cool down with a treat.

More than just an event, Horizon West Fest is all about connection. It’s a chance to engage with neighbors, meet new friends, and celebrate what makes our community special. People brought their lawn chairs, families gathered, and laughter filled the air as we all soaked in the amazing spirit of Horizon West together.
